The station has a 30% talk and 70% music format, with the latter combining 70% of local music and 30% of international music. In its line-up, Overvaal Stereo offers music playlists covering a wide variety of genres, competitions, entertainment shows and short reports on the latest local and international news. Its weekly show with the Top 20 most played songs on the radio is especially popular with the audience.
