As we see no end to the current pandemic, the disruption to children's education is becoming a real everyday worry for families. During the best of times, families stress about their kids' progress in mathematics, since math is a cumulative subject and gaps in knowledge are created from ineffective instruction or the lack of. Today, I am speaking with John Mighton. He is a mathematician, author, and the founder of JUMP Math. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Toronto and has an extensive background in educational math research and best teaching practices. Jump Math curriculum is designed with the latest cognitive and educational research in mind and is an invaluable resource for all students.
