About The Station
Indie Grind Podcast Radio Station is a youth-focused radio station, with the Indie in its name meaning precisely "Independent". It has an Urban/Rural Contemporary format, with music standing for 70% of its airtime, of which Kwaito, Hip Hop, and R&B, Jazz, Wedding Songs, Amapiano, Gqom, Cultural Music etc take up the biggest share. Its music selection is at the discretion of its in-house team of DJs, Presenters and its Amapiano Hour with Amapiano mixes, every monday to friday at 5 pm, is particularly popular with the audience.
