Aganang FM is a community radio that broadcasts content in Tswana, English, Afrikaans, Sotho and Xhosa to the North-West using the frequency 90.0 FM. The station also live streams globally through the internet.
It has a 60% talk and 40% music format. It offers news reports focused on local and community developments, with snippets of national and international news, talk shows on community and current affairs and the coverage of local events. Its line-up also includes educational and entertainment shows.
Aganang FM music repertoire is composed mostly of Jazz, Gospel and Afro-Pop. It plays an average of 60% of music by South African artists and also accepts music submissions by local artists as a way to support their work.
