Phalaphala FM - live

Phalaphala FM is a full-spectrum radio station broadcasting in the Venda language to selected areas of Gauteng and Limpopo using different FM frequencies and worldwide through online live streaming and online podcasts.

It offers a wide variety of entertainment, informative and cultural content, with news reports, sports programmes, talk shows, music programmes and entertainment shows aimed to provide a full service to its audience while simultaneously promoting the culture and language of the Venda-speaking community. As a distinctive feature, it often offers in its line-up radio dramas that keep the audience engaged in the story until the last chapter.

The professionalism and quality of its team of presenters and DJs is also acknowledged nationally, with its most famous sports presenter, Big T, being appointed as a Media Liaison in 2020 to the Limpopo Department of Health.
