The World is our Community
Radio Islam is a community radio station broadcasting from Johannesburg to the great Gauteng area using the frequency 1548 AM and to the world via online live streaming.
Its purpose is to serve the South African Muslim community with relevant and informative content, while simultaneously promoting the values of Islam and dispelling the misconceptions attached to this religion. Its line-up is comprised of news reports, religious content and talk shows where presenters discuss the most relevant matters to the community and provide funeral and nikah notices as well as recipes during Ramadan.
Radio Islam also provides access to the podcasts of its main programmes through its website.
