Amplifying Voices, Empowering LivesTUT FM is a radio station owned by the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), with studios in the Soshanguve Campus. It is operated by a community.
The station targets young black listeners by offering a multicultural broadcast consisting of 60% music and 40% talk. Its line-up includes features such as music shows, talk shows on current affairs, entertainment shows, news reports, educational programmes and traffic and weather updates.
TUT FM broadcasts 24/7, with 18 hours of live shows. In line with its multicultural background, it offers content in English, Tswana, Pedi, Zulu, Venda and Tsonga. Listeners can listen live to its broadcast on the 96.2 FM dial around areas within 50km of Pretoria or via live online live streaming.
