Radio Zibonele - live

Zibonele FM was the first official community radio in South Africa, having started its broadcasts in 1995. It started as a station focused on informing and educating the community about health care and gradually evolved to include more subjects in its programming.

Currently, Zibonele FM offers a line-up with music shows, news reports with weather and traffic updates, and talk shows on a wide variety of topics such as sports, health, politics, religion, current affairs and technology, among others. The station also accepts music submissions from local artists as a means to support them.

The station broadcasts to the Western Cape using the frequency 98.2 FM and is available on channel 841 on DSTv. The station offers additionally an online live streaming service allowing people outside its frequency reach to also listen live to its broadcast.
